New in ShapeBuilder 11.0

ShapeBuilder is a powerful tool for calculating geometric and structural properties of complex shapes. It will also perform a finite element analysis to determine the torsion properties and the shear stresses. Shapes may be exported to use as members in VisualAnalysis.

ShapeBuilder 11.0 lets you create custom grids and "sketch" shapes into your projects. This will undoubtedly assist you in creating odd and complex geometry. You can still drop parametric shapes, import DXF files, and generate copies. But sketching might save you a lot of time.

ShapeBuilder also provides a 3D extruded view to help you better visualize the section.  To rotate the view, simply Ctrl+Middle Mouse & Drag or use the View Cube in the bottom left corner.
