Maintenance Coverage

Each single-user or network license is covered by 1 year of maintenance, which covers all major-version upgrades, technical support, and licensing services.  The annual cost of maintenance is approximately 15% of the new full license price, but varies slightly by product.  Maintenance costs will change over time as new prices change.

Expired Licenses

With expired maintenance, existing installations will continue to work where already installed and activated. However, you will not be able to activate, deactivate, or change machines.  If a machine breaks-down, you could be stuck without software until you renew or upgrade (depending on license and dates).
